Dr. Renee Rimmer O.D.
Dr. Rimmer grew up on a farm in South Georgia and enjoyed visitng her Grandma in Blue Ridge all of her life. Although not a native like the rest of her family, Dr. Rimmer became the 4th generation to call Blue Ridge home in 2003 when she opened her practice here. She graduated from Southern Adventist University with a BA in English and graduated from Southern College of Optometry with a BS in Physics and doctorate in Optometry. She elected to do her internship in Ocular Disease and studied with some of the leading Glaucoma and Cataract surgeons. Her passion has always been compassionate care and providing patients with options for improving and maintaining their sight. She is a member of the Georgia Optometric Assoication , the American Optometric Association and the Ocular Wellness and Nutrition Society.
